About my collection

Welcome to my blog, dedicated to the wonderful multi-talented american violinist Lindsey Stirling. I've become a fan of Linsey's work on August 1st, 2013 and ever since then, she has been one of my biggest inspirations and role models. I've began collecting music and merchandise that year - at first only her self-titled album and very limited merchandise was available and right now, there are so many things a person can't possibly afford them all. Unlike many other collectors, I don't buy ten versions of an album, just because there is a slight difference in the barcode. I buy different editions because I love unique artworks, bonus tracks and different packaging. I love every single item in my collection and in my posts, I've described why I love and what it means to me, the CD or merch that I've own.

Even if you're not interested in collecting, there still might be something for you in this blog. Under the sections Collaborations and Singles I've put every single collab and single Lindsey has released since she started making music. I'd like to think that I've made the most extensive list of Lindsey's collabs - you must check them out because I'm sure there might be some that you don't know about. Whenever possible, I've provided links to youtube and info about the songs too. Making those lists brought me a lot of joy, especially since her music was the prime reason I fell inlove with all she does.

Section Tour is another fun one - it's not yet completed but I've posted most of the outfits Lindsey has worn during tours over the past few years. The reason I made this is because when I love an artist, I'm usually impressed not only by the music, but by the videos, outfits, concerts, interviews and so on as well. Lindsey is a very creative person and her stage outfits are usually very memorable and fun. Be sure to check them out!

My .mp3 collection is all about rare Lindsey concerts, medleys, renditions of songs, backtracks, bonus tracks and all sorts of .mp3 files, that didn't find their way in my other song sections of this blog. I personally think this is the most interesting tab but unfortunately, most of the times there aren't youtube links for those songs. They are still available on her website and itunes though.

My blog is focused mainly on the items in my collection but on occasion, I post Lindsey news, photoshoots and videos. When I was anticipating her new album, I've made the section New album news - it's not a part of the blog that will be updated regularly though - there are many websites and facebook groups about Lindsey that have all her recent news. This blog will be focused mainly on my collection.

Finally, I still have a lot of plans and ideas how I can improve this blog. I sincerely doubt someone is really reading so it's mainly made for my pleasure. Still, if there are fans who have found this blog and liked it, I'd be a very happy person!
