Shatter Me pledge music 2014
Title: Shatter Me pledgemusic 2014 signed limited poster
Info: This is the gem in my poster collection; astonishing photo made by Josh Rossi for Lindsey's Shatter Me photoshoot. I got it from pledgemusic as a part of Lindsey's Shatter Me campaign. When I pledged I wasn't able to see the actual photo of the poster and I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. But the photoshoot for Shatter Me is very original and elegant and this is one of my favourite photos of it. It's also my first signed by Lindsey item which makes it very special to me.

Shatter Me Josh Rossi 2014

Info: Self printed A3 poster on a thick paper; taken from Josh Rossi's 2014 photoshoot with Lindsey. Choosing one of Josh Rossi's photos for a poster is a difficult work, as they are all so beautiful. This one I actually love more than the Shatter Me artwork, it's quite amazing. The only thing it could be better about the poster is the photo contrast, otherwise it's perfect.

Kate Szatmari 2014

Info: The posters are a huge part of my collection and I have many of them; although at all times I have only one poster on my wall, which I regularly change. This one in particular is a self printed A3 poster on a thin paper, from one of my favourite photoshoots made by Kate Szatmari in 2014, as a part of the Shatter Me promo. It's also one of my favourite posters and it has been on display regularly ever since I made it. The photo is lovely and very classy.

Personal note: From all the artists I love it's safe to say Lindsey is the one who got me to love vinyls. I've always ignored this format and more than once I've been annoyed when bands release vinyls in every possible colour. I'm still not a big fan of having more than ten differently coloured vinyls of the same album... but I sure as hell love buying vinyl editions of my most loved music. Black is my favourite, classic colour so this is a treat to have. I actually got it from the States so it has a little dent on the right top corner from all the airport transfers... luckily I managed to get it safely at home.

Personal note: So far my favourite Shatter Me edition - I love the different artwork and that's actually my most favourite photo from Josh Rossi's photoshoot. It suits the theme of the album better. Senbonzakura is my most beloved bonus track, fits the Japanese release perfectly and I love the fact that there is a bonus DVD with the music videos for Shatter Me and Senbonzakura. The whole package also comes with a flyer filled with information about Lindsey in Japanese, the regular booklet with different artwork and another booklet in black and white, with the Shatter Me story translated in Japanese and lots of pages with information about Lindsey in Japanese. Leave it to Japan to make a wonderful looking edition, because this one is absolutely beautiful.

The rest of the edition is wonderful though, the magazine is full of information about Lindsey and creating the album and the whole package comes with a set of magnets (which I didn't have the heart to play with). It's the prefect gift for a Lindsey-fan.

Personal note: Looks exactly the same as the USA standard edition but this beauty has 3 wonderful bonus tracks (which were the reason I couldn't wait to get my hands on this CD). Between her self-titled Target deluxe edition and Shatter Me's deluxe - Shatter Me wins, the songs are more than perfect. Was it in a different package this edition would be my favourite, but this one shares the problems of the standard edition - the CD is hard to get out so I'm always afraid I'll damage it. Nevertheless, the 3 bonus songs make it all worth it and I can't wait for her 3rd album's target deluxe edition (we all know there's going to be one). :)

Personal note: As a collector, I don't buy just about any CD with a different number in the barcode. It has to be somehow special or different. This one caught my attention because unlike the European standard version, it comes in a digipak (made of unusual material... recycled paper maybe?). In terms of packaging, it's not my favourite edition - the CD and booklet are not easy to get out so if I use this more often, they might get damaged. It's still an interesting release to have, it's the only Lindsey CD that comes in a digipak. (I also bought a second one by accident... which I'm keeping just in case.)
