Christmas overload!
I felt a little bit sad that there wasn't a new Christmas video this year but the news are Lindsey will start working on a new Christmas album in January! I think her Christmas work is magical so here's a little throwback to my favorite videos:

Lindsey Stirling Calendar 2017
Title: Lindsey Stirling Calendar 2017
Info: This is the third year in a row in which I treat myself with a personalized Lindsey Stirling calendar. I enjoy choosing the photos as ever and every photo has a meaning to me. I was very impatient for the 2017 one – around the release of Brave Enough we enjoyed many lovely new photoshoots so choosing from them was a pleasure. Having a Lindsey calendar is very important to me – I have numerous posters (but only one on display) and the calendar. Looking at her makes me happier, more positive and optimistic person. Here goes:
January 2017: January is so very cold, kind of depressing month (after the holidays) and I wanted a picture to suit the mood. After much consideration I picked a gorgeous photo from the summer festivals of Lindsey playing Crystallize and striking a beautiful dancer’s pose.
Photographer: Nicholas Hunt, Panorama NYC Festival, July 2016
April 2017: As this is the first month of the spring, in which everything is very warm, green and somehow awaken, I wanted a photo to express that freedom after the cold months. Naturally, I went for a photo from Disorder Magazine - my favourite photoshoot so far, with the loveliest setting, dresses and poses. Choosing a photo from this lovely photoshoot was a hard job as they are all so beautiful.
Photographer: Lepa Georgievska, Disorder Magazine, London UK 2016
May 2017: For the past two years, for May I've chosen photos from the same photoshoot with Devin Graham for her first album. This year I wanted something different but at the time when I was making the calendar I was feeling very nostalgic so I went with this photo from 2010 - some may recognize it as the photo from her Lindsey Stomp EP, released six years ago.
Photographer: Unfortunately unknown. All credits go to him/her
June 2017: This is the second photo I've chosen from Disorder Magazine and a second favourite one. Had there been more photos in HQ, I'd have picked more to grace my calendar. June is a fun, warm, lazy month so I wanted a fun, quirky photo.
Photographer: Lepa Georgievska, Disorder Magazine, London UK 2016
July 2017: I needed an appropriate photo for the hottest month of the year and the backstory for this photoshoot is a curious one: there was a fire somewhere in Utah and Scott Jarvie and Lindsey went to shoot those gorgeous photos, which I believe are loved by many fans. The actual photo for the calendar is a behind the scenes one which I loved immensely as it shows a dancing silhouette with a violin on a fire field. Then again, every single photo from this shoot is amazing and I've used them many times for my other calendars/posters. I didn't want to use any oldies for this calendar but this was too good of an opportunity to pass.
Photographer: Scott Jarvie, Portrait Shoot Utah Lake 2012
August 2017: In September 2017 Lindsey performed the national anthem at the Monday Night Football opening. Naturally, I'm not interested in sports or american football but the photos were so beautiful and full of happiness that I immediately had to include them. Choosing this one was a hard job, as all the photos from Fielding Cathcart were so pretty.
Photographer: Fielding Cathcart, NFL Game, San Francisco 2016
September 2017: September is my month, so I needed a special photo to grace it. The answer came with another beautiful photoshoot, this time for 1883 Magazine. That's exactly the full of energy and effortless beauty photos I need.
Photographer: Yakub Merchant, 1883 Magazine 2016
October 2017: The last three months of the year are always hard for me to imagine or choose photos to suit them. I don't particularly like them either because of all the gloomy weather and depression. For October I chose an appropriately gloomy coloured photo of Lindsey from her Brave Enough tour in my favourite dress. It's mainly the beautiful pose and dress that made the choice for this one.
Photographer: Steve Martarano, Bonney Field, Sacramento 2016
November 2017: Throwback to a beloved video of mine, Moon Trance, which also happens to be very suitable for Halloween. Needless to say, I love Josh Rossi's work and again, at the time I felt nostalgic so I threw in a couple of old photos of Lindsey.
Photographer: Josh Rossi
December 2017: I like choosing photos for December because I get to pick a Christmas one - the choice for next year's December photo was very clear. I went with a lovely picture from Lindsey's CMA Country Christmas 2015 performance, which is the best Christmas performance ever. It's also noteworthy that Lindsey's dressed like a Christmas present.
Photographer: Laura Farr, CMA Country Christmas 2015
Important note: This calendar isn't and has never been meant to be sold to other people. It's made purely for my enjoyment and I don't ever wish to capitalize on other people's work. All of the photographers did an amazing job and I'm forever grateful that they chose to share their art with us.

February
2017: February begs for a goofy, fun photo and as soon as I saw this one, I
fell inlove with it. It’s taken backstage during the summer festivals and it
goes with my February mood perfectly.

March 2017:
I choose again a photo from the summer tour of this year (not a big variety
till now :P). Don’t really like this month so I didn’t have any specific wishes
for the photo. I loved the colours, pose and quality of this one so I went with
it. Definitely a favourite concert photo.

Brave Enough Vinyl
Title: Brave Enough
Format: Exclusive plegdemusic.com red transparent vinyl
Release date: 19 August 2016
EAN: 762184742922
Personal note: This is what happens when you order from pledge music - I have two vinyls which are the same + two extra covers with Lindsey's autograph in them. When I ordered the second vinyl my expectations were that I'd get the Brave Enough black vinyl (as the red one was exclusive for bundle offerings only), sadly I got the red one again. Nevertheless, the colour of this vinyl is absolutely gorgeous and having Lindsey's autograph on it is another amazing thing.

Brave Enough Deluxe
Title: Brave Enough
Format: European deluxe digipak edition, same as the Target exclusive
Release date: 19 August 2016
EAN: 0602557074277
Personal note: This is my absolutely favourite Brave Enough edition (and the best out of the Target exclusives). Not only do I love bonus tracks but I also love extra stuff and this lovely CD has a two-sided poster (one of the sides has Lindsey's printed autograph) and a sticker - with lovely photos from her photoshoot with Andrew Zaeh. In addition, those 4 bonus tracks are her best bonus songs ever released and they are instrumentals only - which is a plus for those fans who didn't enjoy the collabs. The digipak itself is also better than the USA standard because it's easier to get the CD and booklet out, without damaging the package. Overall, this CD is pure joy to own.

Brave Enough
Title: Brave Enough
Format: USA digipak standard edition
Release date: 19 August 2016
EAN: 762184742625
Personal note: I am so happy this edition was included in the Brave Enough bundle - getting items from the states is hard when you live in Europe and pledgemusic made my experience considerably easier. I love the design, if you're interested you can check this link. The edition looks like the Shatter Me USA standard although it's a regular digipak, not an ecopak like the Shatter Me one. The only thing I don't like is that the package itself makes it hard to get the CD and booklet out and if I do that often enough, I feel like I can easily tear it. The Target deluxe is much better at that. Nevertheless, I enjoy this edition so much and I'm glad to have it in my collection.

Brave Enough Poster
Title: Brave Enough pledgemusic poster
Personal note: This is one of my favourite items in my Brave Enough collection. When Shatter Me was released I pre-ordered the Shatter Me poster, without knowing the design, the photographer or the photo. I took a leap of faith and to this day, that Shatter Me poster is one of the most gorgeous posters I have. With this one I did the same - I didn't know what the design will be so I pre-ordered blindly. What came was a gorgeous artwork from the Brave Enough cover art on a very thick, high quality paper and Lindsey's lovely signature. This simply begs for a frame. :)

Brave Enough T-shirt
Title: Brave Enough T-shirt
Personal note: Another lovely item from the Brave Enough bundle. The shirt is very stylized and I definitely prefer this kind of design rather than wearing someone's face on my chest. It's a bit large for a size S but otherwise beautiful purchase.

Brave Enough Button Pack
Title: Brave Enough Button Pack
Personal note: This is another part of the Brave Enough bundle that was offered by pledge music and a very unique one - I've never seen (official) Lindsey buttons before. Those are very big and beautiful and a cool way to KSLL while you're wearing your favorite backpack for example.
